The first part of the trip is described here — trip to Blue lakes
The route passes along the Cherek gorge to its upper reaches, where it continues to the Kara-Su gorge, in the tract Zholpak.
On the SUV car we reach the bridge over the canyon, in which the river Cherek is raging, and turn right onto an inconspicuous road that leads us into the forest along the geographically left side of the Cherek gorge. Many people saw the gorge of the Cherek gorge, many passed through tunnels in the rocks but very few people could look at it all from above and from the other side. And the views are wild and beautiful! After driving about a dozen kilometers along an extreme road in places, we drive to the upper edge of the forest, where the road ends at the kosh farm yard. Next, you need to walk to the edge of the plateau, it’s not much, about 15 minutes of walking, and now in front of us, standing on the edge of a cliff at a dizzying height, a view of the Upper Balkar basin, surrounded by mountains, opens up. Ahead, the peaks of the Sugan massif are shining with snow. Then we will go a little higher along the edge of the plateau, impressing ourselves with a four-hundred-meter cliff under our feet. Then we will have a picnic, general photography and set off on the way back.
