Tour Program

1

Day 1: Arrival Day

We meet our tourists at the airports or at the railway stations of Mineralnye Vody or Nalchik, we provide a transfer to the hotel. Next, we introduce the guide and equipment checking and rental.

Day 2: station Azau-st.Krugozor

We are going for a snowshoe climb from the Azau glade to the Krugozor station along the ski slope. After 1 hour from the start of the journey, we will make a stop at the hut to rest. We still have 1.5-2 hours of climbing ahead of us. At the Krugozor station, we rest in a cafe, we can have a bite to eat and recuperate. We go down at your discretion — on foot or by cable car (extra cost).

Day 3: st.Azau-st.Mir

On the third day, we will climb the cable car from the Azau station to Krugozor, and then we will go on foot. We are going for a fascinating 2-3 hour walk to Mir station. At the station, we will rest in a cafe, recuperate and go down to the Mir station by cable car.

Day 4: alp center Shkhelda-glacier Shkhelda

Today we will go by car from our hotel to the Adyl-su gorge, get to the border post and then go on foot to the Shkhelda camp. Within 30 minutes we will walk along the path to the first avalanche cone, then for an hour on snowshoes we will climb to the sites. Here we organize rest and a small snack. Ahead of us is the crossing of the river and access to the incredibly beautiful Shkheldinsky glacier. We will walk along the majestic glacier for 1.5-2 hours to the fork of the gorge. The way back will be the same as the ascent.

Day 5: alp camp Jantugan — glade Green Hotel

Today we have to go along the bed of the Adylsu river from the camp Dzhantugan to the moraine. Along the river we will go to the bridge over the river. Then we will pass through a wide valley and arrive at the Green Hotel. The route will take approximately 2 hours. Here we will rest. Ahead is another 1 hour of travel past the houses of glaciologists to the Dzhankuat glacier. Here we will organize another halt for rest and begin to descend back.

Day 6: Ascent to Cheget.

Our journey will start from the Cheget glade on the cable car, we will pass 2 lines to the weather station. The further way is on foot to the very top, it is about 2.5-3 hours. We will take the same route back.

Day 7: St. Azau — Houses of Shelter-11

On the new cable car we will rise to the Garabashi station. Then a 2-hour hike to shelter-11. The descent will be on the cable car to the Azau station.

Day 8 – Departure

We provide our tourists with a transfer to the airport or railway station of Mineralnye Vody or Nalchik.

For accommodation we offer Hotel Laguna. The hotel is located in the center of the resort area of the glade Cheget, in a cozy place, just a 5-minute walk from the cable-ways. Standard rooms with all conveniences. The rooms have a TV, refrigerator, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, toilet, shower, personal hygiene products.
